Professional media coverage of the election process will be the focus of an OSCE seminar that opens on 29 February 2012 in Novi Pazar.
The aim of the event, gathering representatives of regional and local media, civil society, political parties and local authorities from south-western Serbia, is to provide information about the rules of media coverage during the elections.
Former BBC news editor Richard Thompson will share his experience of election reporting. Dragan Lukic from the Republic Broadcasting Agency will present the rules for broadcasters during the election process. The event will be moderated by Dragana Nikolic Solomon, Head of the OSCE Mission to Serbia Media Department.
