About

The Aarhus Centre will promote Aarhus Convention principles, including access to environmental information, and contributing to greater inclusion of civil society and local decision-making. Its overall aim is to improve the state of the environment in Novi Sad, the South Backa District and throughout Vojvodina.

The Co-ordinator of OSCE Economic and Environmental Activities, Goran Svilanovic; the State Secretary of the Ministry of Environment, Mining and Spatial Planning, Miladin Avramov; the Mayor of Novi Sad, Igor Pavlicic; the Director of the Environmental Protection Fund, Zeljka Jurakic; and the Secretary of the Provincial Secretariat for Urban Planning, Construction and Environmental Protection, Dusanka Sremacki, will speak at the opening of the event.
