About
Some 50 police officers from 27 regional police directorates will be trained in community policing principles during a two- week training course for Community Liaison Officers in Vrnjacka Banja, from 26 September to 7 October 2011.
The OSCE Mission to Serbia is organizing the event together with the Interior Ministry. The goal of the training is to enhance community policing practice in Serbia through the provision of training and mentoring of the main focal points within Police Districts, to gather feedback and work towards addressing local security concerns.
Training community policing will sustain the community policing concept within the Ministry, and help build a better approach towards serving the needs of the public, by the police.
