Good governance
The Mission helps harmonize Serbian legislation and practice with international anti-corruption standards and strengthen authorities’ capacity to uphold good governance principles, particularly in the management of public funds, while also ensuring that citizens’ voices are heard and democratic values are embedded at all levels of governance.

Overview
The Mission fosters independent anti-corruption institutions, strengthens the parliament’s oversight, promotes the Code of Conduct for members of parliament, and supports Serbia’s network of Ombudspersons. It trains prosecutors on money laundering and tackles economic crime. It also builds capacities of public institutions, local governments and civil society to embed democratic values, transparency, ethics, public participation and good governance at all levels.
