This roundtable discussion aims to stimulate debate on the respect of rule of law and functioning of the state institutions during the process of media reform, with a focus on the implementation of media legislation and the so far results of media privatization, including the case study of the Tanjug news agency.
Panellists will include legal and media experts, professor Rade Veljanovski, Faculty of Political Science, Milos Stojković, lawyer, Law Office Živković and Samardžić, professor Zoran Ivošević, Law Faculty of the University Union, Nedim Sejdinović, Independent Journalists’ Association of Vojvodina and Vesna Petrović, Belgrade Center for Human Rights.
