Overview
The Mission promotes inclusive, gender-sensitive education in Serbia, supporting minority students, intercultural learning, bilingual faculties and Serbian language proficiency. It integrates gender in legal and environmental education, strengthens security sector expertise through scholarships and exchanges, and equips future professionals with skills for human rights, justice and good governance. The Mission organizes training courses on non-discrimination for municipal youth office leaders and runs projects to connect young people from the entire region of South-Eastern Europe. It also organizes training seminars for primary school teachers to improve their knowledge and skills on how to teach civic education and holds local awareness-raising seminars for social workers and education advisors in schools (psychologists, education specialists) on the prevention of radicalization and violent extremism that lead to terrorism.
